Sadakataşı Association carried out Muhammed’ul Emin Masjid&Cultural Center, which was projected in Tiszalök, Hungary with the cooperation of Hungary Islam Organization last year.
Opening of the project that was renovated to make locals worship and come together was performed on 800m2 area.
Masjid is designed on 800 m² area
an old house consisting of 4 rooms and 2 halls built on an area of 800 m² in the city of Tiszalök was purchased by the Sadakataşı Association last year. The association completed the construction and renovation and opened the project to worship under the name of Muhammedu'l Emin Masjid&Cultural Center.
The opening of the masjid and cultural center, which is the first place of worship for Muslims living in the region, was attended by Dr. Tibor Fedor, Special Representative of the Hungarian Prime Ministry for Religious Affairs, Mehmet Karakoyun, Religious Affairs Attache of the Hungarian Embassy, Sándor Gömze, Mayor of Tiszalök, Zoltán Bolek, President of the Hungarian Islamic Society, Kemal Özdal, President of Sadakataşı, and members of the board of directors of the association.
The first masjid in the region
Kemal Özdal gave a speech at the
opening that "Today, we opened the Muhammedu'l Emin Masjid&Cultural
Center, which we have designed with the Hungarian Islamic Society. Our project,
which will serve the Muslims living in the city of Tiszalök will meet the need
for worship as well as social activities. We would like to thank our donors who
contributed to the opening of the project, which is the first masjid in the
region."
