3 Schools Put into Service for Arakan Refugees

Three schools put into service in Bangladesh, which was built in camps where Arakan refugees lived.

Kemal Ozdal, who is the president of our Association, gave information about new schools to members of parliament Serap Yasar, Mustafa Şükrü Nazlı, Mehmet İlter Çitil, Hasan Karal, Tülay Kaynarca and Mahmut Kaç who participated in the opening of the schools.

The Balukali refugee camp, where two schools inaugurated, is home to about 1.2 million refugees who have emigrated from their home countries, after attacks by the Myanmar Army and fanatical Buddhist groups.

Kemal Ozdal said at the opening of schools, 'All of the refugee camps are home to refugees more than their capacity. One of the biggest problems of the camps is the educational problem, we are happy to provide three schools where Bangladeshi offspring can study.

As Sadakatasi Association, we will continue our relief works such as food parcels, hot food, zakat distributions, hygiene supplies, adak, akika, sacrificing, orphan sponsorship, water wells, and Qurban-Ramadan organizations in many regions.
