As part of cataract surgeries performed under the coordination of our health team in Mali, Kaboila, the eyes of 800 patients who had difficulty in seeing and meeting their daily needs were treated thanks to the help and support of philanthropists.
Patients were informed about surgery with the announcements in Kabolia and surrounding areas. within the scope of the organization which lasted 10 days, 800 patients were treated.
Untreated cataract diseases lead to blindness occurs due to reasons such as age, undernourishment, prolonged exposure to severe light, eye trauma. Millions of people lose their sight because they cannot have surgery lack of technical and financial impossibilities.

Mali Bamako Ambassador Murat Mustafa Onart made a statement that " on August 18, a coup was carried out in Mali. Within the scope of our traditional relations, we stayed with Mali as Turkey during the transition process. Both countries are highly complementary to each other. We try to increase the possibilities between the two countries through our businessmen. Our NGOs are involved in activities here. Within the scope of cataract surgeries, Sadakatasi teams visited us. They performed more than 800 cataract surgeries in extremely difficult conditions. The healthcare industry is weak here. Cataract surgeries are going to change these people's lives. In addition to these, Sadakatasi drills water wells and they supervise projects. I thank them for their activities."

Kemal Ozdal said in his statement that " People are suffering from cataract disease for reasons such as nutrition, age, and hygiene especially in Africa and Asia. Due to the cataract which its treatment is easy but hard for people living in an underdeveloped healthcare system and financial impossibilities, causes blindness. Because of that, Millions of people lose their sight in Mali. We performed 800 cataract surgeries to contribute to the solution of this problem."
