The Women Commission organized an aid organization that joined 600 guests to support of Idlib.

The Women Commission organized an aid program at the Bosphorus Life Center as part of the "Idlib waiting for help" campaign launched for Idlib, which is under intense bombardment.

In the program, which began with the Quran, Mustafa Akgül, a retired Chief Preacher of Istanbul, gave a speech on humanitarian aid. In the program, which was informed about the aids of our association in the region, was conveyed with presentations to the guests about the recent situation in Idlib and what can be done for the people of the region.

Humanitarian Crisis in the Region

Hundreds of civilians have been killed after the recent bombing in Idlib. 313,000 people took refuge on the border with Turkey, a safe zone.  There is a humanitarian crisis in the region due to the lack of access to clean water, malnutrition, lack of medicine and medical supplies and hygiene products, particularly housing

Aid Supplies are Transmited to the Region

Our President Kemal Özdal said that “From the first day of the civil war, we are delivering immediate aid to Syria. Lastly, in order to announce what happened after the bombing in Idlib to all of Turkey, we are carrying out immediate aid work with the call for "Idlib is waiting for help". The biggest problem in the area at the moment is that there is no shelter. We have set up tent cities for 300 families to solve this problem. Now we're building immediate homes where a thousand families will stay. With the addition of cold winter months, the drama in Idlib is unfortunately increasing. We will stand by our brothers by transmitting stoves, food, hygiene supplies, and winter clothes.''

The President of the Women Commission Büşra Çevik said that there is a humanitarian plight in Idlib and that they have carried out this organization in order to raise awareness of this issue and create awareness of Idlib. We will continue to deliver immediate aid to the region as the Women commission.''
