As Sadakatasi Association, we have begun our work to perform cataract surgery of 1,000 people in Ethiopia. An operating fee was set at 350 ₺.

Within the scope of cataract surgeries project to be carried out by our association in Ethiopia, we will perform their surgeries to save 1000 brothers from cataract disease with the help and support of the philanthropist.

Untreated Cataract disease leads to blindness and occurs due to reasons such as age, undernourishment, prolonged exposure to severe light, eye trauma. Millions of people lose their sight by the reason of cannot have a surgery lack of technical and financial impossibilities. They continue lives dependently on others.

President Kemal ÖZDAL made a statement that '' People in most regions of Asia and Africa are suffering from cataract disease for reasons such as nutrition, age, and hygiene. We will intensify our work on the treatment of these people later on this year.  In Ethiopia, thousands of people lose their sight every year due to cataracts. We will try to be the eyes of our brothers and sisters with the 1000 surgeries we plan to do.''

Our association last performed cataract surgery for 500 people in Pakistan, let up their difficulties in vision, providing our brothers to have healthy eyes.
