We continue our winter reliefs which we started with the call of 'winter relief from top to toe' in refugee camps and orphanages in Idlib.
The winter season has affected the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Balkans without accepting our country. Due to the increased harsh winter conditions, the association carry out to distribute the blanket, scarf-beret and glove sets, coats, boots, stoves, and coals which determined as emergency supplies as part of the winter relief campaign in 9 region including Turkey.
Coal was distributed by our emergency aid team to the orphanages in the Idlib countryside, where Syrian orphans were staying and tent cities and refugees lived.
The winter badly affected the refugees living in Idlib region because their tents are endurable for winter conditions and they can't find fuel. Some of the camps where refugees are sheltered were covered in snow. The region has been declared a crisis zone.
Kemal Ozdal, Sadakatasi Association President, made a statement that ''Every year within the scope of winter works, notably Turkey we go to many regions of the world. We helped to tent cities and orphanages in Idlib region of Syria, where there are harsh winter conditions. Emergency aids will continue to the region.''
