Eid Journey to Ancestry Land

Eid Journey to Ancestry Land

We set off to comprehend the sacrifice's secret. Our direction is Mongolia which the least densely populated country in the world per unit area. Only 3.5 million people live in this country which is twice the size of Turkey. The number of Muslims living in this population is only 150,000. We set off 4 days before the Eid. Arriving the capital Ulan Bator take 10 hours from Istanbul.

We experienced more traffic than Istanbul in the city with a population of 1.5 million as soon as we arrived.

We couldn't get enough of the roads. We set out to with our guide Bahtiyar go to the Tonyukuk Inscriptions where the life marks of the Gokturks are located. Tika, which reveals our beauties all around the world, also had revived this land.

Of course, it wouldn't be good if we didn't ride a horse and throw arrows like our ancestors.

After about 6 hours of journey, we visited our religious affairs consultant and ended the day with a nice conversation about Muslims living here. The roads would be waiting for us again tomorrow.

The next day, we embarked on a four-hour plane journey for the area west of Mongolia where we will sacrifice. Our direction was Bayan-Ölgii Province.

When we arrived at Bayan Ölgii we began to feel the homeland. "Welcome" is so much meaningful here. We hugged our brothers who nestled their own brothers.

Every minute a different beauty was welcoming us. When we arrived at the orphanage where 50 orphaned girls live there and were run by our partner foundation we once again realized "The secret of the sacrifice" Our beautiful-faced orphans who have eyes shine with joy their eyes greeted us that words are incompetent to describe this moment.

We could not forget the good times we spent there. But the surprises never ended. They laid on entertainment for us. We couldn't get enough of listening songs, tunes and watching shows, but there was a song that lyrics’ lumped in our throat.

Muhammad who adopted the orphan. I'm an orphan girl. Have me as your child. Your love enough for me dear Messenger I need you so much that I'll accept whatever you give.

We understood why we're here and why we should be here.  There were people all over the world waiting for us. We couldn't have been unreciprocated for this wait. We ended this wonderful day by taking the gifts prepared by our brothers for us and hugging.

Tomorrow is Eve. We'll be on the road again. Our direction was Ulaamgom which take about 8-10 hours of the land journey.

We were ready to leave early in the morning on the eve. After we congratulated eid and said goodbye to our orphans who had us amazing moments in the orphanage, we set out. The road that didn't look like a road was 320 km. We were going to cross the mountains and valleys to arrive Ulaangoom. Along the way, the view had indescribable beauty, but there was no road. We've tried hard to not be driven away inside the car.

We learned that 5,000 Hotons live in this city which population is 32.000 that 80% of the population poor. Before the slaughter, we made the final checks of our sacrifices and arranged lists of our donors who gave the sacrifice proxy. We have begun to wait for the eid...

Our mission was to deliver the safekeeping’s to our brothers and sisters. We had 414 shares which we will deliver. We have finished the slaughter swiftly thanks to the organized work and begun to deliver the shares.

Our mission, which began at 08:00 a.m ended at 00:00. At the end of the day, we saw a happily, gratefully and thankfully eyes.

Once again, we realized that we should never leave this land alone.

It was the second day of the Eid. We crossed paths with the kids again. In fact, when the children are happy, the Eid go great. Their happiness which sprang thanks to shopping at their own sweet will, created a smile on our face and gave peace to our hearts.

The last day direction was to Trialan district in Ulaangom. The governor of the district which about 500 Hoton Turkish families live in there, welcomed us. He reminded us of our brotherhood. We have accepted (taken?) thanks on behalf of our benefactors who have given us their trust. Because we were just intermediaries.

Trialan means farming area. This place was one of the few areas in Mongolia where agriculture was done. It’s the verdant area, chirpy children, excellent air inebriated us.

Unlike the Turks who mangoliasated? J  in center of Mongolia, the children are trained Turkish and Quran. Our brothers from Hoton who studied in Turkey were trying to raise the children to protect their own values, like their ancestors 500 years ago.

When we asked the children their names they answered as Asiye, Zehra, Melek or Nur on the contrary Mongolian names written on identity. It made us happy. For these people who have forgotten their values under Mongolian oppression for hundreds of years, these children will be a new sprouting seed. They're going to grow up and put their roots steely in this land. Hopefully, they will dominate our core values in this land, like 500 years ago.

We spent hours by running with the kids, playing and wrestling. Maybe we do not speak the same language, but we talked with our hearts. We didn't want to leave but time was up…

There was good work to be done for this beautiful town. We set out by putting a smile of beautiful-faced children on our baggage. Our new direction is to homeland from ancestor land.

We have said the Sacrifice's Secret.  This secret is hidden in this land...
