As part of the project that our association performing with Shimal association and TIKA Hz. Aise Islamic Training Center was opened in Vietnam.
Locals, officials of TIKA, Sadakatasi association, and Vietnam Government attended the opening of Hz. Aise Islamic Training Center the first Islamic school in the region where about 90,000 Muslims living.
Member of Sadakatasi board Faruk Senel made a statement in the opening ceremony that " We are happy to open the training center that we build with Shimal Association and TIKA and distribute Ramadan aids. There are major problems in education in the region. Hz. Aise Training Center will be served for the region in Islamic education. We will make our brothers and sisters feel that they are not alone thanks to continuing aids in Vietnam.”
"We thank the Turkish public and Sadakatasi association for the training center," said Nguyen Thanh Phong, deputy chairman of Vietnam's ruling Communist Party, at the opening ceremony.
Zeynep Bayrak, TIKA Foreign Relations Project Coordinator, said, "We are happy to carry out this project together with the Shimal Foundation and Sadakatasi Association after the determination that there is a problem in Islamic education in Vietnam."
Hz. Aise Training Center that was built on a 5,000 square meters area in Vietnam's An Giang region has 2 madrasah and 8 classes for male and female students. 360 students will be trained in the center. The center has a dormitory with a capacity of 70 students, a dining hall, and a teacher's lounge.
Sadakatasi Association determined shortcomings in education in the country where Muslims living as a minority, distributed the first Vietnamese Quran, Sirah, and Islamic catechism in the country.
