60 people lost their lives in Kastamonu, 9 in Sinop and one person in Bartin throgh floods and heavy rains,. This brings the total loss of life in the disaster to 70 people.

The loss of life is increasing while in clean-up and search and rescue efforts in the affected areas is increasing there.

Search, rescue and debris removal work continues in the damaged buildings and destroyed  building in Bozkurt in Kastamonu state that were affected by the floods.

323 people have been evacuated in Bartin state, 925 in Kastamonu state and 472 people in Sinop state.
