the living conditions of the people  getting worsen since the blockade began in 2006 in Gaza which live in about 2 million people. Thousands of people were unemployed due to businesses that closed by reason of under blockade and the unemployment rate exceeded 50 percent, according to Palestinian Workers' Union statistics. The people of the region are living dependent on foreign aid.

Food Aid to a Thousand Families

food package consisting of tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, peppers, aubergines, and chicken were distributed to a thousand needy families living in Al Zahra, Jabalia, Han Yunus and Maghazi, the impoverished districts of Gaza.

President of Sadakatasi Association  Kemal Ozdal made a statement that ''Our brothers living in Gaza need aid due to under blockade and pressures. As Turkish people, we have a great responsibility to help the region. As an association, we will continue to deliver aid to the region awareness of the brotherhood.''
