Our
team in the region delivered food and medicine relief to Palestinian refugees
who are surviving below difficult circumstances in Lebanon where the economic
crises are occurring.
Kemal
Ozdal, the chairman of Sadakatasi, stated that Palestinian and Syrian refugees
living in camps are having hard times in Lebanon which the economic crises
affected adversely living conditions.
Ozdal said
that gathered 22 Turkish NGOs completed a three-day emergency relief effort as
part of a campaign against Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and that they
visited refugee camps in the capital Beirut and the southern cities of Saida
and Sour.
Ozdal
indicated that they provided food and medicine assistance to the families
living in the camps. Likewise, 10 refugee families have had battery systems as
part of their lighting project since last year against power outages.

Education
Support to Palestinian Refugees
Ozdal
underlined that the distance education project they implemented at the Burj al-Barajne
Refugee Camp in Beirut after the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak was very
useful and noted that they continue to provide teachers' salaries and other
expenses in order to ensure that the education of Palestinian refugee children
is not interrupted.

50,000 $ in humanitarian aid
A total of
50,000 $ worth of food and medicine was distributed as part of the
three-day relief works, benefiting Palestinian refugees as well as Syrian and
Lebanese families in need.
Because of
the occurring economic crises, Ozdal addressed that they will continue to
support within the frame of aid campaign initiated in December of 2020 with
Turkish NGOs, calling to offer a lifeline to refugees.
Palestinian refugees dwelling in camps located in
different parts of Lebanon, El Beddawi, Burj Al Barajne, Sabra and Shatila, Ain
Al Hilweh, Nahr Al Bared, Rasidiye, Burj Shemali, El Bas, Vifel, Diye, Dbaye,
and Mar Elias are living in hard conditions
