Hygiene package, wheelchair, and medicine were distributed to the people of the region within the scope of the emergency relief efforts started by the call of ‘’Extend Your Hand Yemen Is Dying.’’
medicines and hygiene supplies were provided to thousands of people as part of the emergency relief works in Yemen, where the civil war was ongoing and difficulty providing medical and hygiene supplies.
The loss of life has exceeded 30,000 due to the civil war in Yemen. . Epidemics are increasing in Yemen which are experiencing a crisis in many issues especially health due to the lack of access to clean water, malnutrition, shortages in medicines and medical supplies every day. in the country, 22 million people, who constitute 75 percent of the population, live in need of humanitarian assistance and protection. Our emergency aid team visited hospitals in Marib and distributed medicines to 800 people and wheelchairs to 130 disabled people. Following the relief efforts, hygiene packages were delivered to 1,200 families living in Sana'a, Aden, and Al-Mahwit regions.
Association president Kemal Ozdal made a statement that "Infrastructure services and health care in the country have collapsed, which leads to epidemics and increased deaths. People living in refugee camps can't even find water or food. We delivered wheelchairs, medical supplies and hygiene packages to our brothers and sisters who were in need. Relief works in the region will be continued.
