We are continuing to provide urgent aid to the needy who live in Taiz and Ma'rib in Yemen which we started with the call of "We hold the goodness for struggling Yemeni persons". It was distributed through health support in mobile clinics.
There is difficulty in purchasing medicines and hygiene supplies after the civil war in Yemen, and through urgent aid efforts continue in Yemen. In addition to distributing hygiene kits in the Taiz and Marib. We regularly provide health services by establishing mobile medical clinics in the refugee camps.
The number of deaths in Yemen is 30 thousend due to the civil war. Epidemic diseases are increasing day by day for reasons such as lack of access to clean water, malnutrition, lack of medicines and medical supplies in Yemen, which is experiencing humanitarian crises in many areas, especially in the health field. 24 million people live in needy situation of humanitarian aid and protection and they constitute 80% of the population of Yemen.
Hygiene kits to 300 families
Diseases are increasing day by day for reasons such as difficulty accessing clean water, malnutrition, and shortages of medicines and medical supplies. Hygiene kits were distributed to 300 refugee families in the regions of Taiz and Marib.
Mobile medical clinic
Diseases spread in Yemen at a very high rate, and many hospitals became unusable after the attacks on the hospital. For this a mobile medical clinic was provided to the Yemeni people in the refugee camps in Marib and Taiz. More than 1600 medical patients were treated in the mobile clinic and provided with medicines and treatments.
Help aids are continuing
As the association president Kamal Ozdal said in a statement: “The infrastructure services and the health system in Yemen have collapsed, causing epidemics and increasing deaths there. People living in refugee camps cannot even find adequate water and food for them. Marib and Taiz areas through mobile clinics. We will continue to provide aid to the area".
