Heart Bridge to Albania

Heart Bridge to Albania

We set out from Istanbul on 20.08.2018 for the Albania program organized by Sadakatasi Association to congratulate the Eid. We made our preparations at Yeşilköy (Ataturk) Airport and boarded the plane. There was a 45-minute delay. As is known, Yeşilköy airport is one of the world's few airports at the international level.

We felt the excitement and pride which are originated from responsibility for going to another country. An hour and a half later, I arrived with my companion Ahmet in Tiran, Albania's capital. After routine controls, it was said that the customs control will be performed while we were just leaving. I asked the officer if I could go out of here at once. he asked me where are you from and I answered that I'm from Turkey. He said, "Go ahead" I understand that if you're have a mighty country in your past if your economy is big if your help and justice are reliable, you're appreciated.

Our brothers from Al Miresia Goodness Association welcomed us on the way out. -Salamun Aleykum – Aleykum Salam What's a pleasant Word! Hz. Muhammad commanded that greet should be popularized among Muslims. Greet is a key to reinforce feelings of love, fraternity, and fondness.

We hugged, we clinked our hearts. It is said that if you are good, the whole world is the good or total opposite. Good or bad things begin depending on the person. We got in the vehicles and set off. Firstly, we took a break to meet and relax with our brothers in the association building and the president of the association, Mr. Korab.

-Habit and readjustment

- To enjoin

- Tea or coffee

We thought we'd have some tea. In Tiran, coffee is drunk mostly. Anyway, tea was found and we drank. We went to congratulate brothers’ Eid. It is necessary to make preparations before the Eid. Our brothers were fasting on eve. We’re passengers. Passengers do not fast. We understand that despite years of communism in the heart of Europe, the traditions are continued and the local community fast.

Fasting is patience

Fasting is soul training.

Fasting is a means of intimacy to Allah and the messenger.

At that moment I realized that love inside me doubled. I said to myself I'm glad to be here. This generation up-and-coming.

Conquest begins from the west.

Side by side

The believer’s but brothers.

Muslims are like one body of a person; if the eye is sore, the whole body aches, and if the head aches, the whole body aches. We went to visit Istıkbal and Gelecek Association. This association is more interested in educational affairs. Mr. Tahir who president of the association is a wonderful man of heart, a virtuous believer. During our conversation, I realized the meaning of the sura Hacc, 37.  “It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah. It is your piety that reaches Him” I realized that the purpose is not to distribute meat or sacrifice. I understood that these visits honored our Muslim brothers and sisters and they able to keep their heads upright thanks to visiting when ı saw honor and proud on their facies.  Then we went to visit Yunus Emre Cultural center, which our state founded to spread our culture. The people who worked there were Albanians. We met, we got information. Our brother, whose name is Egert, studied in Turkey and is a valiant Muslim boy. These are the future of Albania. Then we visited Mimar Sinan Mosque, which is under construction through the Religious Foundation of the Republic of Turkey. A magnificent Turkish sign is appearing in the middle of Tiran.

We performed the Eid prayer with a congregation of 10,000 people in the middle of Tiran, the largest square in the capital. It was a great view. Man, woman, old, young, children, everyone was there.

I got this feeling. It was like a rebellion, like a symbol of resurrection. The storm of my soul and my heartbeat said to me that” Hasan, these people who live under communism for years, are praying in this square today. If my Lord wants, the seal of Islam is struck on Albania.”

There is a bektasi tradition caused by the history of the country throughout Albania. They visit bektasi shrines and continue this tradition.

We went to the slaughterhouse. It was a very clean and tidy slaughterhouse. The sacrifices were cut off and were embarked into a vehicle with cold storage. We set out to address the needs of the needy at the mosque gates, which I care about this very much personally.  This custom has many benefits but I want to say one of them. Those people will take care of the mosque. They'll understand the importance of the congregation and will create a sense of belonging to the mosque. If you've noticed, the Christian community is distributing the aid at the church.

They have organized a principled and orderly organization because of Albania is a European country. I don't care about any value of Europe but The prophet forcing us to take good quintessences” knowledge is the lost goods of the believer, get it whether it is in China”

Albania make feel like an Anatolian city. How is it? There's a mosque in every village. Every city is green. As if you are traveling at Sakarya, Samsun, Tokat. There’s an every shade of green, small mountains, fertile and wetland plains, cornfields, clover fields… It's a cute country where doesn't have cold gloomy European buildings, where wild capitalism hasn't unbalanced nature and environment yet. Especially in the days when we distributed aid, the air was clear, the sky was blue and the sun was as if it reflected the clarity of September’s sadness and its peace upon us. May my Lord grant all the world countries days which to experience the sun of Islam

God Bless

Goodbye
