We are continuing our immediate relief efforts in Idlib, where humanitarian plight has experienced and more than 200,000 civilians have migrated to our border.
About 120,000 Syrians who have left their homes due to the attacks by which Russia-backed Assad regime which has ratcheted up it in the southeast of Idlib in recent days, have begun to migrate to areas close to the Turkish border and the areas which have been cleared thanks to the operation Euphrates shield and olive branch with long convoys of vehicles carrying their supplies.
The population of Idlib which home to 1.5 million Syrians before the civil war, has increased 4 million following internal migration which occurred because of opposition forces lost territory due to the attacks by Assad regime.
Russia and Assad regime continue to bombard Idlib n, which has become the last stronghold of anti-Assad civilians and the Syrian opposition, despite the ceasefire decision.
Tens of civilians died every day due to the bombardments of fighter aircraft in Maaret al-Numan and Serakip districts in the southeast of the city, while the number of civilians forced to have left their homes has exceeded 200,000, according to local sources.
