Humanitarian aid works to central and rural areas of Idlib continue synchronously with immediate aid works which initiated after operations initiated by regime forces and Russia. Our immediate aid team in the region carry out the distributions of winter clothing, stoves, coals, food and hygiene supplies. We have created tents city 300 families capacitively to solve the housing problem. In the first step, the foundation of the refugee camp, where 1,000 families will live, was laid.

Tent city for 300 families

Refugees who take refuge in areas close to the Turkish border without taking any items from their homes need family tents to protect them from the cold winter months. In accordance with these needs, the tent we have established will accommodate 300 families.

Winter Clothing Aids

As part of our immediate aids to the area where a major humanitarian plight took place, 20,000 pairs of boots, 2,000 children coats, 5,000 blankets, 500 beds, and clothes were distributed for 25,000 people.

Food and hygiene supplies aid

In order to solve the food problem of refugees, 2,000 pieces of salt, pasta, rice, oil, tomato paste, canned meat products, milk, infant formula, bulgur, and oil were distributed. Additionally, 75 tons of flour were distributed to meet the bread needs of refugees.  Cleaning and hygiene parcels were delivered to 500 families in the camps where could occur epidemics due to the unhygienic conditions

125 tons of coal and 3500 stoves

Stoves and 125 tons of coal were distributed to 3,500 families for the solution of the stove and coal problems which are one of the most important necessaries due to the harsh winter conditions in the region.

4 million ₺ aid in one month

More than 4 million ₺ of immediate aid supplies have been delivered to Idlib, where the crisis occurred. For needy families of Idlib, who have difficulty meeting even daily food needs, food, hygiene supplies, medicine, winter clothing distributions, and permanent housing construction will continue in the coming days.

Permanent housing for 500 families

Besides tent cities, we are carrying out permanent housing projects to solve the housing problem of refugees. Immediate homes in the refugee camp, which will accommodate 500 families in the first step, are built on an area of 24 square meters.
