Food, bread and winter clothing were distributed by our immediate aid team in the area for the needy that are living in the central and rural areas of Idlib.
Immediate aid works were carried out for Idlib by our association after the humanitarian crisis in Idlib. Aids were delivered to thousands of families in the region.
Distribution of 8,500 liters of milk, 3,400 packets of baby biscuits, 250,000 pieces of bread and winter clothes to 500 children in central and rural areas of Idlib, where hundreds of thousands of people have difficulty finding basic living supplies and food, was carried out. About 5,000 families benefited from the aids.
More than 500,000 people have been killed and 2 million injured and millions of Syrians have left their homes thus far after the civil war that began in Syria in 2011.
Our association made a statement that the distribution of basic living materials, especially food, bread, and clothing, will continue for Idlib families in need, which have difficulty sustaining their lives.
Our President Kemal Özdal made a statement that ''we have witnessed the humanitarian plight heaps of times in Syria’s civil war which continues for 7 years. In order to increase our sensitivity for Idlib and to save our brothers and sisters there from the situation, we have delivered immediate aids to the region with the support of our benevolent citizens. We will continue to deliver aids to the region.''
