Our association continues to aid to Arakan Muslims fleed the massacre in Myanmar and taking refuge in neighboring Bangladesh.
Our immediate aid team has inspected the final form of the orphanage, which was laid a foundation in Bangladesh's Chittagong region and will house 100 refugees from Arakan. After this, our emergency aid team, which went to the camps, distributed zakat, and food rations and carried out the opening of the water wells

Orphanage for Arakan Refugees;
Thanks to the orphanage 100 orphans who live in makeshift bamboo houses or tents outside the camp will have a warm home. The orphanage includes dormitories, classrooms, dining halls, kitchens, and a library.

Opening of 20 water wells
Immediate aid team carried out opening of 20 water wells while visiting Arakan refugee camps. Nearly 200 water wells were opened in Bangladesh during the year. Wells are contributing greatly to the solution of hygiene and epidemics, which are the biggest problem in the region.
Zakat was distributed by the association so as to Arakans living in refugee camps can meet their daily needs and shop. 300 families will meet their needs from the markets which in the camps thanks to zakat.

Food Rations for 650 Families;
for 650 refugee families living under difficult conditions at Cox's Bazaar have been distributed food rations including rice, flour, salt, dried beans, sugar, and oil.
Cevdet Hasbal, our vice president made a statement that ''We continue our immediate aid works since the year we were founded in the region. The number of people forced to emigrate in Bangladesh has reached 2 million after the massacres in Myanmar. Tens of thousands of orphans live in difficult conditions in the camps. We have laid the foundation of an orphanage that will host 100 orphans to create a more comfortable environment. We distributed food rations to hundreds of families at Cox's Bazaar. We will continue to deliver immediate aid to the region.''
