Income support for Rohingya Refugees

As part of the income-generating project, distributing of human transportation vehicle Rıksha, burden transportation vehicle Van and sewing machine carried out for Arakanese refugee families.

We continue to support Arakanese refugees living in Bangladesh with the income-generating project which provides jobs and economic return, in addition to humanitarian aids delivered regularly.

Nearly 2 million Arakanese have been forced to emigrate from their country Myanmar to neighboring country Bangladesh due to attacks by soldiers and Buddhist nationalists. Out of violence effects on Arakanese subjected to, we are carrying out humanitarian aids in the region. Also, we continue contributing to removing the unemployment problem which is one of the biggest problems of refuge families with the income-generating project we initiated.




87 sewing machines

Sewing Machines were distributed to 87 Arakanese ladies living in Balukhali Refugee Camp, Cox's Bazar, and Ramu regions to make them contribute to their family economy by sewing and selling products.




Riksha and Van Distribution

32 riksha used in human transportation and 30 Van used in burden transportation which are designed in accordance with the country's requirements were distributed to refugee families living in Cox's Bazar, Balukhali and Teknaf regions. Refugee families earn income regularly with distributed vehicles.

Our head Kemal Ozdal made a statement after the distributions that “We deliver humanitarian aid to Arakanese refugees regularly. One of the biggest problems of refugees is unemployment. As part of the income-generating project, we continue distributing Riksha, Van, and sewing machines designed in accordance with the region's requirements. We thank our philanthropists who support Arakanese families on generating an income.”
