51 people were killed and more than 900 injured in the earthquake that strikes in Albania. Hundreds of aftershocks occurred following the main earthquake, two of which were magnitude 5.6 and 5.1.

Thousands of people were affected by the earthquake in the country. People have been staying awake till morning in the streets for days because of the aftershocks.

Our association has begun immediate relief efforts for the Albanian people who have it rough. Necessary aid supplies will be sent to Albania in the coming days in accordance with the list of needs reported from the region.

Buildings severely damaged in earthquake are being demolished in a controlled manner

The local officials who completed the search and rescue efforts in the wreckage after the earthquake, identified the buildings which were severely damaged and dangerous.

The buildings, which are determined that there is not any living creature in it, are demolished in a controlled manner with work machines.
