President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited the Ancient City of Stratonikeia which in Yatagan neighborhood Eskihisar district of Mugla.  President Erdogan, who came to Stratonikeia Ancient City with his wife Emine Erdogan and entourage, was welcomed by authorities and residents. Citizens exhibited love to Erdogan shouting slogans that "you brought honor to our village"

An elderly citizen among the residents of the neighborhood who shook hands with President Erdogan experienced emotional moments when he said that the executed former Prime Minister Adnan Menderes had also shaken his hand when he was 17. Erdogan also toured the Saban Agha Mosque which built-in ottoman period in the 3,000-year-old Ancient City of Stratonikeia, one of the world's largest marble cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List.  President Erdogan came to the charity stone in front of the mosque and got information from the authorities. Then he left coins on the charity stone.
