Our association, which continues to aid to Yemen, where starvation is occurring, became the first Turkish NGO to go in the region.

Emergency aid is continuing in many parts of Yemen, where there is a humanitarian crisis.

Our teams distributed food packages consisting of oil, sugar, milk powder, canned, flour, and rice to families living in the Mehra region, where a thousand homes were damaged band about 8,000 families affected because of flood disaster that occurred 2 months ago 

The first Turkish relief team to go into Yemen

Sadakatasi emergency aid team, led by our vice president Cevdet Hasbal, arrived in the region and became the first team to go into the region from Turkey. Aid to the region will be carried out through the Yemeni Melioration Association and distributions will be coordinated with emergency aid teams that went into the region.

We have been keeping going on emergency aid works in the area for about 3 months. Food package for about 1000 families, 200 tankers of clean drinking water, bread for thousands of families regularly, hygiene packages in order to prevent epidemics, and about 200 shares of aqiqah, nadhr, and voluntary sacrifices were distributed to the locals.

Cevdet Hasbal made a statement that "22 million people living in Yemen are in need of aid and more than 100,000 people have died since 2015, when the civil war began. We have initiated two emergency relief campaigns for the region to avoid silence on the humanitarian plight. We regularly distribute bread, water and food in Taiz, Marib, Sana, Aden, Hadramevt and El Hudeyde regions. Our aids to the region will continue increasingly.''
