Continuing our Ramadan initiatives under the slogan "Let Ramadan Be Good For The World," our teams have carried out humanitarian aid efforts in Lebanon and Syria.
Prioritizing Conflict and Crisis Zones
This year, our Ramadan aid program extends across four continents and 30 countries, with a particular focus on conflict and crisis zones such as Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon. We are conducting regular distributions in these regions to provide essential relief.
Lebanon Ramadan Aid
In Burj El-Shemali Refugee Camp in Lebanon, our team distributed food packages and zakat donations to 150 Palestinian families. Following this, in the Jbeil region, scholarships were provided to 180 Quran students. Continuing our efforts, we extended our support to 150 families living in Burj El-Barajne Refugee Camp, distributing food and zakat. Additionally, we shared an iftar meal with 250 people at the camp.
Aid Efforts in Syria
After completing aid operations in Lebanon, our team proceeded to the Homs region of Syria, where they distributed food packages and zakat to 200 families. Following the distribution, we organized an iftar gathering at the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque, sharing the meal with 500 people.
"Aid Efforts Will Continue"
Our Chairman Kemal Özdal, who coordinated the aid operations on the ground, stated that "Due to the devastation caused by war, we are carrying out continuous relief efforts in Lebanon and Syria during this blessed month of Ramadan. We have distributed food and zakat to those in need and shared iftar meals with our brothers and sisters in the region. Our aid efforts in Lebanon and Syria will continue throughout Ramadan."
