In the program organized by our association, the needy people living in Bolu, including Syrians, Iraqis, and Afghans, gathered in the iftar program.

After the aid parcels distributed to Turkish and Syrian families in Bolu by our association within the scope of Ramadan aids and eid gifts for the children of these families,  iftar program was organized in the restaurant which in the Ataturk Forest Park in Asagisoku Neighborhood.

Our President Kemal Ozdal said that they live together spiritual climate, plentifulness, essence and the true meaning of Ramadan with this iftar program.

Ozdal, "Ramadan" the meaning of sharing, brotherhood, solidarity, philanthropy, the culture of living together with peace, love and fraternity emerged, he said.

Ozdal explained that has been trying to live together in peace, and well-being in this land for thousand years "Today in many parts of the world, unfortunately, Muslims have immigrated from the land they live in due to war, oppression and occupations and they live under their brothers' patronage. I hope that with the spiritual blessings of the day of Ramadan our Syrian brothers, Palestinian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Arakan, Somali, East Turkestan, and our refugee and migrant brothers in many parts of the world they will return to their territory," he said.

Özdal said that he faced a number of outrageous statements and behaviors towards refugees living in Turkey, especially Syrian citizens, and said:

"I would like to express that we strongly oppose the Discrimination, marginalization, exclusion, xenophobia, all explanations which turn against our security, our law and we will always be with of our guests, our refugee brothers. I would like to thank you very much to our Governor of Bolu, its esteemed assistants, non-governmental organizations in Bolu, our President of the republic, government officials to explain the facts to the public by breaking the perception that created in a very serial way.

Iftar program which participated Bolu Deputy Governor Ilhan Turgut and many needy people ended after prayers.
