Within the scope of Ramadan aid efforts, the distribution of food packages was performed to 1500 Rohingya families living in Bangladesh. In addition to the aid, 20 water wells were taken into service in the camps.

Within Ramadan aid efforts, we initiated with the call of “We Are Together In This Ramadan” we delivered aid to Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazaar.

Millions of Rohingya people were forced to migrate to neighboring Bangladesh after attacks by Myanmar soldiers and Buddhist nationalists. We distributed Ramadan aid to Rohingya refugees who are surviving under difficult circumstances.

Food Packages to 1500 Families

The distribution of 1500 food packages consisting of rice, sugar, salt, oil, chicken, vegetable, and dried fish was carried out in Cox Bazaar by our Ramadan team.

Opening of 20 Water Wells

At the beginning of Ramadan, 20 water wells were drilled in Roginhya refugee camps. Last year, 369 water wells were put into service in the camps which contribute to solving the local problems such as hygiene and pandemics.

Aid Will Be Continued

Fitrah and zakat distribution will be implemented for the refugees. 300 children living in the camps and 100 children living in the orphanage will be presented aid clothes to share the happiness of eid

Within the scope of Ramadan efforts, thousands of Roginhya people will be benefited from the works. We will continue to deliver aid to the camps during Ramadan” said Kemal Ozdal, the chairman of Sadakatasi.
