Sadakataşı Association implemented the activities of Ramadan through the appeal of the campaign "Time for Solidarity for Turkiye" this year by providing Ramadan aid to the earthquake regions, then the geographical crisis regions. Within the works of Ramadan activities, food packages, zakat al-Fitr and Eid clothing were distributed. Iftar and Suhoor meals were served to 300,000 people.
This year, Sadakataşı Association distributed Ramadan aid this year in 13 countries. The aid consists of zakat al-Fitr, Eid clothing, food packages, and food supplies. The families affected by the earthquake were helped by building breakfast and suhoor tables in the earthquake regions for them. The number of beneficiaries of the Ramadan aid provided by Sadakataşı Association has reached 500,000 people.
Domestic Ramadan aid
Sadakataşı distributed Ramadan aid inside Turkey in 24 states this year, especially the earthquake regions. Within the scope of the aid, social shopping cards, amounting to 500 Turkish liras, were distributed to 10,000 families, and food packages were distributed to 15,000 families. Food and breakfast supplies were distributed to 2000 families. Sadakataşı Association team provided Eid clothing and gifts to 3000 children during the holy month of Ramadan.
Iftar meals were delivered to 6,000 people and Suhoor meals to 4,000 people daily in Hatay, Adıyaman and Kahramanmaraş by the association. And with the Ramadanian works of Ramadan bread was distributed to 10,000 families.
Abroad Ramadan aid
Within the scope of Ramadan aid abroad, Sadakataşı distributed food packages to 4150 families living in 12 countries, and zakat al-Fitr and Sadaka were distributed to 2700 families. In terms of Iftar meals were served to 9000 people and Eid clothing was distributed to 2000 children so that they could live the joy of Eid.
Where did our help come from?
The association provided Ramadan aid to Türkiye, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Chad, Palestine (Gaza / Jerusalem), Lebanon, Nepal, Niger, Syria, Somalia, Central Africa and Yemen.
Aid to half a million people
The chairman of Sadakataşı Association Kemal Özdal made a statement saying: "We focused on the earthquake area in Ramadan activities this year because of the earthquake regions that we experienced. Iftar and Suhoor meals were distributed to 10 thousand people every day on a regular basis in Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş and Hatay. We distributed food packages, breakfast supplies and social shopping cards to 27 thousand families in Turkey. Sadakataşı distributed zakat al-Fitr and Eid clothing to thousands of families. We would like to thank the donors who contributed to the delivery of this aid to half a million people."
