Dozens of buildings were destroyed after the earthquake, which was centered in the Turkish city of Izmir, in the municipality of Seferihisar. While 25 civilians lost their lives and 831 others were injured. A total of 519 aftershocks occurred after the earthquake.
The relief team of the Sadakataşı association moved to the region after the earthquake to provide emergency aid in the city of Izmir. Our team, which carries out search and rescue activities for people trapped in demolished buildings, is also tasked with distributing hot soup to those affected in the earthquake zone.

We started by providing and distributing aid during the campaign that we started in Izmir under the call "Move for Izmir". As a charity, blankets, hot meals, beds and emergency relief items are distributed in the area.
