Relief
efforts in Yemen, where civil war has been occurring and millions of people
have been displaced are continuing. The opening of the tent city that 50
refugee families will live was performed.
We are ongoing
aid works under “We Hold The Goodness for Struggling Yemeni Persons”. Our
relief team carried out the opening of Sadakatasi Tent City that Maribi refugee
families will shelter.
After the
civil war in Yemen, millions of people have been displaced. The biggest problems
of refugees, who are living in tents under unhygienic conditions are shelter,
food, and health. We are delivering regularly hygiene, food, and health aid to
Taiz and Marib.

Marib, located
in the inland of Yemen, is home to nearly 2 million refugees. One of the
important issues of refugees, who are struggling, depriving of food, health,
and education is shelter. We are working to contribute to solving these
problems. In the first stage, the opening of tent city, that 50 families will
live was carried out. We will continue to back the Yemeni people by enlarging
the tent city in the next months.

Due to the
famine and economic crises in Yemen, people are unable to provide food. 24
million people in the country live in need of help and protection. Epidemics
are increasing day by day due to lack of access to clean water, malnutrition,
shortages in medicines and medical supplies.

Our chairman
Kemal Ozdal said in a statement: "Due to the civil war in Yemen, 80% of
the country's population has become aidless. As an association, we have started
our relief efforts. We regularly deliver food, hygiene, and health assistance
to the region. Another important problem in Yemen is shelter. In order to
contribute to the solution of this situation, we opened the tent city that we
designed. In the coming months, we will continue to support our sisters and
brothers by growing the tent city.
