We are continuing to deliver humanitarian aid to Chad. Our relief team in the region carried out the opening of two new mosques and distribution of income-generating projects, qurban shares, and food packets.
Our team in Chad inaugurated Hüseyin Can Menekşe Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque in rural regions of the capital, N'djamena. Within the income-generating projects, motorcycle and grocery stores were delivered and qurban shares and food packets were distributed to needy families.
Hagia Sophia Mosque Was Opened for Worship
The opening of Hagia Sophia mosque, which was projected on an 80 m² area with 100 person capacity and including a fountain and solar panel, was carried out. Also, children will be educated in the mosque.
Hüseyin Can Menekşe Mosque in the Capital
The opening of Hüseyin Can Menekşe mosque, which was projected on a 70 m² area with 90 person capacity and including a fountain and solar panel, was carried out in N’djamena. Approximately 5,000 people will be able to benefit from the mosque in the region.

Income-Generating Projects
We support Chad, one of the poorest countries in the world, with income-generating projects. 5 grocery stores with supplies were delivered to needy families. Moreover, motorcycles used as a taxi were delivered to 4 people. Thanks to this project, Chadian families will contribute to the family economy.
614 Qurban Shares
Slaughtering and distribution of adaq, aqiqa, and shukr qurbans were carried out in Chad this month. Our relief team slaughtered 614 shares in Bomboto and Tourba regions and distributed them to needy people.
Food Packets to 500 Families
Food packets consisting of oil, flour, sugar, pasta, and rice were distributed to 500 families living in central neighborhoods of N’djamena
