The cement block houses project we started for Syrian refugees continues. The residential town was named Yassin Boro, and it consists of 300 homes that we are building in Killi in Idlib. And because of the ensuing clashes in Syria, the construction of living housing for the Syrian refugees who migrated to the areas near the Turkish border is continuing.
We are delivering food parcels, hygiene supplies, clothes, shoes, heaters and fuel to the region after the start of the aid campaign under the call "Idlib is waiting for help" after the humanitarian crisis in Idlib. Most of the houses made of cement blocks have been completed, which is a solution to the problem of housing and residence, which is the biggest problem for refugees there.
The town of Yassin Boro, which has 300 houses
The opening of the foundation for the residence of Yassin Boro, which consists of 300 houses, which was built on an area of 20 thousand square meters, in the Killi district of Idlib, has been completed in recent months. 300 refugee families will live in the homes that will open next month. The construction of schools and mosques will be implemented in the residential city of Yasin Buro in the coming days.
A total of 2000 residential homes
After the resulting attacks in Syria against refugees to the areas close to the Turkish border, the problem of sheltering the refugees displaced from Idlib began to be solved. The residential project consists of 2000 houses spread over 11 different areas. The area of one house is 24 square meters. In addition, the construction of mosques and schools will be implemented in the areas where residential houses are built.
As the association’s president Kamal Ozdal, stated about the residential homes project: “Last year, we started building a project of houses made of cement blocks to solve the housing problem, which is the biggest problem for Syrian refugees. With this project, we will have completed the construction of most of the residential homes, where about two thousand families will live in 11 different areas. Finally, we are continuing to build homes in Kelly that we named Yassin Boro and it will open next month. We would like to thank the dear donors who helped build those homes that will be shelters for the refugees.”
